After a morning of long napping [Eli], laundry [Ben], kitchen-cleaning [Lenae] and supervising [Gabriel], we Ross's found ourselves hungry and adventurous. Chick-Fil-A and the park called our names! So off we went.

Eli is new to the forward-facing carseat and often not
a happy camper about it. At some point, he realizes
his shoes can be removed and this will silence the
screeching for awhile. ...Until, of course, he drops the
shoe. Then, we all pay.

Gabriel is a car ride veteran: He likes the wind in his
hair and understands the great comfort of a moving
vehicle. It is the perfect place to crash for a nap.

Back at home, it was pandemonium with shaving cream!
Ben found this little project on a crafts-for-kids site-
Shaving cream + food dye = loads of fun. Or at least the
site said so. Gabriel dug it until Ben tried to have a shaving
cream fight with him. It's all fun and games until someone
gets undesirably dirty. Much crying ensued. At least I got
a picture of him smiling!
