Musicals aren't everyone's cup of tea.

But oh man, they are mine. Hollywood is bringing them back in a sort, but the classics- now those are where the magic's at. I grew up watching musicals; it didn't matter which grandparent's house I was at, musicals were on the shelf. "The King and I", "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers", "Oklahoma!", and of course, "The Sound of Music". You can't get much better than the singing, dancing fabulousness that is the Von Trapp Family, but my personal favorite is -as you may have guessed- "Singin' in the Rain."

Gene Kelly was so charming and amazing! Debbie Reynolds was adorable and classy and graceful... Donald O'Connor was endearing and hilarious (he even made my 2-year-old laugh). Yep, I love musicals, and I'm not embarrassed to say so :)
