... Time for a rare, melty treat for Son #1. We had a temporary

moment of insanity and agreed that Gabriel most certainly deserved to have his own little ice cream from Bruster's. Time crunch? Not a problem- He can eat it in his seat while we drive home! (Did I mention it was a moment of insanity?) Of course, Ben ordered him something called a "Dirt Sundae," because if you're going to saturate your car in ice cream, you might as well go the extra mile and make sure it's ice cream named "dirt." (Side note: It was just vanilla ice cream covered in Oreo crumbs.) So yeah... Needless to say, Gabriel loved his ice cream and I'm looking forward to scrubbing it off the backseat :)

Today marks little Eli's 3rd week on planet Earth. He's gaining weight nicely and of course, that makes it doubly fun to kiss him! Chubby cheeks, chubby little legs... He's a pretty relaxed kid and sleeps during the day until Wheel of Fortune comes on (really). Gabriel has yet to exhibit any rea

l jealously issues, which is fine since he seems to be spending the rest of his energy saying 'no,' seeing what he's allowed to throw around the house (nothing), and consequently hanging out an awful lot in the time-out chair. However, he's still got that adorable Gabriel charm... Yesterday he was on his way to go down for a nap and went over to Eli (who was asleep in his swing), stroked his hair, and said, "Nigh-nigh, baba!" So he's crazy, but he's my crazy
sweetheart.
