So we were supposed to go to this rad pumpkin patch with our friends, the Laney's. Unfortunately, none of us thought to research the operating hours of this lovely little place so up we rolled on Sunday evening, bubbling with excitement... an hour after closing time. It was a bummer. But we partied at the Laney pad for awhile so it all worked out.
We headed over this afternoon for a do-over, and it was lots of fun! Gabriel wanted to take every pumpkin home with him, and then he decided he just didn't want to leave. He was mostly compliant when it came to picture-taking; as long as we didn't make him smile or poise or anything silly like that, he would sit and permit us to photograph his miserable face. Or he'd pick his nose.Eli just wanted to eat. That's his thing these days- eating. He made several valiant efforts to devour the mini pumpkin Gabriel picked out for him. And during his picture time, he contented himself by chewing on straw. Yum.
We'll follow this up with a part 2 detailing our pumpkin carving experience. I can't wait to see how Gabriel reacts to pumpkin guts- yay!

Oh my stars- that last picture is hilarious as is the captions that go with it. I can't believe how big Eli is. Didn't you just have him like last week? You guys are cute.
